Autumn is here!!

There is a certain electricity in the air at Mountain Pathways, as your children spend their "outside time" climbing trees and chasing the falling leaves. While our students are hard at work growing and learning, many parents are hard at work preparing for our annual Autumn Festival. Here is a message from parents Julie Brittain and Kristie Evans about the upcoming festivities:

"Our committee has been hard at work planning the best Autumnfest yet!Venues included for Autumnfest on Sunday, October 3:

A Fall Market
Tye Dye T-shirts
Junior Jurassic Jumpie
Tractor Rides
Chunky (The Horse) Rides
local craftspeople including our own Cheryl Williams

Incredible food including specialties from The Bistro, and great chili from our MPS cooks!

Baked Goods for sale
Raffle Basket-already worth over $100.00!
Lastly we want to get the word out about this year's addition of a COSTUME PARADE. The guidelines for costuming center around making it "gore/scary-free" (remember the 'lil 'uns!) Show off your creativity and imagination!! Homemade costumes are strongly encouraged...... All ages welcome! We will promenade at 3:00 pm!

We are going to need a small army of volunteers to help pull this off. We are asking you to consider working in 1 hour shifts. Please sign up! As always, if there are questions, please contact Julie or Kristie at juliebrittain@ymail.com or kristieevans321@yahoo.com."

You can volunteer for a shift at Autumn Fest by either signing up in the hall of the Children's House or by going to this online to this link: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AWr6rP4W-0fYZGZ4Z2h6ajJfNWRma253a2N3&hl=en
