FULL DAY (8:30am-2:30pm) TUITION:

$5500/YEAR for the first child; $5000/YEAR per sibling, to be paid in one of three ways:

• Payment of $5500/$5000 in full
• Two semi-annual payments of $2750/2500 due August 1 and January 1
• Monthly payments of $550/$500 due the 1st of each month, August -May

TODDLER PARTIAL WEEK TUITION:

3 DAYS/WK: $3400/YEAR, 2 DAYS/WK: $2300

• One payment of $3400/$2300 in full by August 1
• Two semi-annual payments of $1700/$1150 due Aug. 1 and Jan.1
• Monthly payments of $340/$230 due the 1st of each month, Aug.-May

DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of $550.00 is due with your contract by May 1 for returning families, and August 1 for summer applicants, preceding the enrollment year.  The amount is applied as May’s tuition of the child’s last year.  A deposit is not required if you pay tuition in full at time of enrollment.

TUITION PAYMENT POLICY
Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month.  A $15 late payment fee is applied for payments received after the 10th of the month.  If payment is not received by the 30th of the month, the tuition deposit will be applied; the deposit, and the current month’s tuition will all be due on the first of the next month.  If payment is not received by the 10th of this month (40 days), the child will no longer be allowed to continue in class until all payments are received.  Families are liable for full tuition even if a student leaves during the year.                                                    

OTHER REQUIRED FEES

• APPLICATION FEE: $25.00 non-refundable, one time charge per child.
• ACTIVITY/SUPPLY FEE for in-town field trips; art, music and physical education, and other activities to be determined by teachers. A snack/supply fee is included in the activity fee for the toddler class and the 3-6 classes.  Unless paid in full at the beginning of the school year, these fees will be due in thirds on the First of September, January and April.

POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES

• LATE PICK UP FEE of $5/10 mins. is charged for after-school pick-ups after 5:30pm.
• LATE PAYMENT FEE of $15 for tuition payments received after the 10th of the month.
• RETURNED CHECK CHARGE of $25 (amount charged to the school by bank) is charged per item.
• BEFORE SCHOOL EMERGENCY DROP IN CARE costs $8 per day.
• AFTER SCHOOL EMERGENCY DROP IN CARE costs $12 per day when available.
• Parents will be asked to contribute volunteer time to MPS fundraising activities.
  

Before and After School Care Monthly Rates (Pre-School and School Age) 

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL CARE

The Before and After School program is optional, and you may change your child’s schedule if needed, on a month by month basis only, and only if there is a space available on the day(s) you need.  Fractional payments or schedule changes within a month cannot be accommodated. 

Before and After School use is purchased as a “slot” for the month for staffing purposes, and you will be billed for your slot even if your child is not present each of those days.  Billing will occur in advance and will show up on your regular tuition statement issued the first of every month.  The exception is for drop-in care, which is available only if staffing ratios can accommodate it at the rate of $12.00 per day for after school care and $8 per day for before school care.  Drop-in fees will be billed on the next month’s tuition statement and will be figured from the after school attendance sheets.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

On days when school is delayed due to inclement weather, we will not offer before school care. Students may arrive 15 minutes prior to the stated school operating time. If your child is in our after school program, please call the school on inclement weather days to check the status of the after school program. In the event the before or after school program is canceled due to inclement weather, we will credit your account $2 per day for before school and $6 per day for after school.

It is the administration’s responsibility to maintain ratio regulations and billings. Any before or after school needs or changes must be cleared through the office, not simply with the teachers.
